1.What makes a good profile

Truthful informationGive your age, height, weight, complexion, blood group, education and marital status accurately. False information can get a profile rejected.
CompletenessProfiles that are 80% or more complete appear in more searches and get more responses.
Family-friendly languageWrite so that both families can read it comfortably.

2.Writing about yourself

In 3–5 lines, describe your values, nature, interests and what you hope for in married life.

The “Hobbies, preferences, personality and dreams” box just below it is required. Describe only yourself there — your hobbies, tastes, interests and dreams; put your expectations of a life partner in the “Preferred life partner” section.

Example: “I am a calm person and family matters a great deal to me. I pray regularly and love reading and travelling. I am looking for a life partner who is practising, responsible and respectful of both families.”

Do

  • Write in your own words, simply and sincerely
  • Say clearly what matters to you
  • Check your spelling once

Don't

  • Don't include an email, phone number, social media or address
  • Don't copy from someone else's profile
  • Don't write anything disrespectful or discriminatory

3.Photo rules

  • Use recent (within a year), clear and modest photos
  • Use a photo where your face is clearly visible as your profile photo — it's the one shown in search, on cards and in messages
  • Add more photos to the gallery (up to 6) — they are shown on your profile page
  • Photos wearing a hijab or niqab are fine too
  • Group photos, other people's photos or celebrity photos
  • Heavily filtered or edited photos
  • Photos with immodest clothing or poses

Choose who sees your photos in the “Photos” section itself: everyone (the starting setting), logged-in members, or only people whose interest you have accepted. Our team reviews every photo before it is published; until a new profile photo is approved, everyone sees the previous one.

4.Education & occupation

Add each qualification separately — degree, subject, institution, year passed and result. You can upload the certificate if you like; once it's checked you get a “Certificate verified” badge. Other members never see the certificate image.

For your occupation, give your job title and the type of organisation. Showing your monthly income is up to you — you can keep it hidden.

5.Family information

Click “Add a family member” and enter the relationship, name and occupation of each member of your family, including father, mother and siblings, along with your family type and values. Everyone sees the relationships and occupations; names are seen only by people whose interest you have accepted. This section matters a great deal to the bride's and groom's families.

The “Family property, land, business and other assets” box is required. Describe your family's land, property, business or other assets if there are any, or say that there are none. The more detail you give, the better your chances of proposals that suit your family's financial situation.

The guardian's mobile number and your relationship with them are required. People who want to talk to your guardian about a marriage proposal get this number once you approve their contact request. Your biodata is approved only after we have verified the number by phone. Give your guardian's number only; entering the number of a friend, colleague, cousin, or the prospective bride/groom themselves will result in a permanent ban of the biodata.

6.Preferred life partner

Describe what you hope for in age range, height, education, location and religious practice. Very strict conditions can rule out good proposals too — include only what truly matters.

8.Profile review & approval

After sign-up, your profile is sent for review automatically at the last step of profile setup; if you left setup halfway, click the “Send for review” button in “My profile”. Our team usually reviews a new profile or a major change within 24 hours before it is published. Before approval, our team calls the guardian's mobile number you gave to verify it. The team may use AI to help with the review — the AI only flags things like contact details or inconsistencies in the text; the decision is always the team's. If any information or photo is rejected, you'll be told why and can correct it and submit again.
