1.What a boost is

A boost means spending points to be seen by more people for a while. A boosted profile's card has a golden frame and its profile page shows a “⭐ Boosted” badge, so everyone understands why the profile is at the top.

A boost does not mean the profile is verified or a better match. A boost only increases visibility.

2.How to boost

1
Go to the “Points & boost” page

From the dashboard or the menu.

2
Choose how many points

Minimum 100, maximum 1,000 — within your balance. Your likely position is shown alongside.

3
Confirm

The points are deducted and a 24-hour boost starts immediately.

3.How ranking works

Boosted profiles are shown before ordinary ones. Among boosted profiles, the one with more active boost points comes first.

PositionMemberActive boostBoost started
1Member A500 points9 am
2Member B300 points8 am
3Member C150 points7 am
4Member D150 points10 am
5Member E100 points6 am

With equal points, the boost that started earlier stays higher (C and D in the example above). At most 6 boosted profiles are shown per search page, and a boost applies only to results that match the searcher's filters.

4.Duration and a new boost

  • Each boost is active for exactly 24 hours
  • When it ends, the profile returns to the normal order by itself
  • You can't start a new boost while one is running — you can boost again once it ends
  • Your remaining points stay in your account

5.Refunds and cancellation

Points that have been spent usually cannot be refunded or reused. But they are refunded automatically in these cases:

  • The boost could not start because the profile was under review or hidden
  • A technical fault meant the boost was not shown

If a profile is suspended for breaking the rules, boost points are not refunded. Details are in the refund & cancellation policy.
